Dr. Tan Shu Qi, an accomplished Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, graduated with distinction from St George’s Hospital Medical School in London. She completed her SingHealth O&G Residency with the Best Resident award in 2012. Specializing in gynecological conditions, antenatal care, IVF, and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Tan is also a dedicated researcher with numerous publications and prestigious grants in fertility and pregnancy care, offering holistic care for women throughout their lives.
Dr. SF Loh, former Head of Reproductive Medicine at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, founded The O&G Specialist Clinic in 2012 and became Medical Director of Thomson Fertility Center.
He played a key role in developing Singapore’s largest IVF center at KKIVF, performing thousands of successful IVF cycles. Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Loh specializes in reproductive surgery for conditions like endometriosis, fibroids, and tubal disease, as well as high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecological surgeries. He has mentored many gynecologists and received a STAR award for excellent patient care.
Dr. Janice Tung is a distinguished Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with expertise in gynecological conditions and high-risk pregnancies. She graduated top of her cohort in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the National University of Singapore and completed her specialty training with SingHealth.
Previously an Associate Consultant at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, she now practices at The O&G Specialist Clinic and Thomson Fertility Centre. Her interests include subfertility, minimally invasive surgery, and pregnancy complications, and she is also a dedicated educator and researcher.
Prenatal and postpartum personalised services include expert breastfeeding and lactation support, fostering the well-being and optimal recovery of new mums and enhancing the bonding process between newborns and their parents.
O&G The Women’s Medical Specialist is helmed by Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Dr Tan Thiam Chye. Dr Tan was the immediate former Head and Senior Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Urgent O&G Centre, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
He is adjunct Associate Professor in Duke-NUS medical school. Dr Tan has received numerous awards as clinician and educator. He co-authored the book “Practical O&G Handbook for the Clinician and General Practitioner”, which won the British Medical Association Book Award in 2015. In 2016–2017, Dr Tan co-developed the HealthHub Pregnancy Track, a new web portal and mobile app, with the Health Promotion Board.
Dr. Suresh Nair is a leading Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Singapore, specializing in fertility and women’s health. He runs Seed of Life, a fertility and women’s care centre at Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre. Dr. Nair trained internationally in endoscopic surgery and earned a Masters in Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales.
He has held leadership roles, including Medical Director of Parkway Fertility Centre and President of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore. He is a pioneer in robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery and has extensive experience in treating complex gynecological issues, including endometriosis, fibroids, and pelvic floor reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Nair is also an educator, frequently lecturing and mentoring gynaecologists in assisted reproduction and endoscopic surgery. He is dedicated to helping patients with fertility challenges using advanced, clinically proven technologies.
